Instructor
Extract structured data from any LLM with type safety and validation
About Instructor
Instructor is an open-source, multi-language library for extracting structured data from large language models. Built on Pydantic, it lets developers define output schemas as typed models and adds automatic validation, retries, and streaming for partial or multiple results. It works with more than fifteen providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, Cohere, and local models through Ollama, with implementations for Python, TypeScript, Go, Ruby, Elixir, and Rust.
