About WebTorrent

WebTorrent is a streaming torrent client written entirely in JavaScript that runs in web browsers and on the desktop. Using WebRTC for peer-to-peer transport, it starts playing video and audio immediately without waiting for full downloads, and needs no plugins or extensions in the browser. Developers can embed it in web apps, while end users get a free desktop app for Mac, Windows and Linux.
