About Thumbor

Thumbor is an open-source smart imaging service that crops, resizes, flips and filters images on demand instead of pre-generating every size. It detects faces and important feature points to keep the meaningful part of a picture in frame, loads and stores images from files, HTTP, Redis or MongoDB, chains filters such as brightness, contrast and blur, and can serve optimized WebP versions to reduce file size for websites.
