About Strokes

Strokes is a desktop writing app for macOS and Windows that keeps your documents as files on your own machine while putting an AI assistant beside the document: select a passage, describe the change, and every edit arrives as a suggestion you accept or reject. It works offline, imports Word, Markdown, plain text and Notion files, and exports PDF, Word, EPUB, Markdown and HTML, with projects, folders, on-device version history, in-app web research, file attachments and image creation.
