About Pyxel Edit

Pyxel Edit is a pixel art editor designed around tiles: drawing in one tile updates every placed copy instantly, tile instances can be rotated and flipped, and the tilemap exports to XML, JSON or plain text for game prototyping. It also does frame-by-frame animation with onion skinning, spritesheet and GIF export, and can import an existing image and identify its unique tiles automatically.
