Kata Containers
Secure container runtime with lightweight virtual machines
About Kata Containers
Kata Containers is an open-source container runtime that runs containers inside lightweight virtual machines, combining the speed and feel of containers with the stronger workload isolation of hardware virtualization. It supports QEMU, Cloud-Hypervisor and Firecracker hypervisors, integrates with containerd and Kubernetes, and runs on x86_64, ARM, IBM Power and IBM Z architectures.
