About gPodder
gPodder is a long-running, Python-based podcast client for Windows, macOS, Linux, and BSD that downloads and manages audio and video podcasts from RSS, Atom, YouTube, SoundCloud, and Vimeo feeds. It can play episodes directly or hand them to a media player of your choice, sync content to devices, and keep subscriptions synchronized through the gpodder.net service or a self-hosted mygpo server. The project has been in development since 2005 with a mature codebase.
