Excalidraw

Hand-drawn style whiteboard that runs free in your browser.

About Excalidraw

Excalidraw is a free, open-source virtual whiteboard with a distinctive hand-drawn aesthetic that makes diagrams feel like quick whiteboard sketches. It runs entirely in the browser with no account needed, supports real-time collaboration through shareable links, and stores drawings as portable files or in its libraries of reusable components. Developers and teachers love it for architecture sketches, lecture diagrams, and meeting notes, and an active ecosystem adds AI text-to-diagram generation and integrations. The core app is completely free; the optional Excalidraw+ subscription adds saved cloud workspaces, team features, and presentation tools for regular collaborators.
