Collective Access - Providence
Web framework for managing and describing museum and archival collections
About Collective Access - Providence
CollectiveAccess Providence is the back-end cataloguing engine of the CollectiveAccess system, a highly configurable web-based framework for managing, describing and publishing digital and physical collections. It supports a wide range of metadata standards, data types and media formats, and is used by museums, archives, libraries and other collecting organisations. Institutions can model their own cataloguing rules and workflows, then present collections publicly through the companion Pawtucket front-end.
