Bear

Beautiful Markdown notes for Apple devices.

About Bear

Bear is a notes app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac built around Markdown, nested tags instead of folders, and some of the most polished typography in its class. Writers use it for everything from quick captures to long-form drafts, with wikilinks between notes, powerful search, themes, and export to PDF, HTML, and Word. Notes sync through iCloud, keeping the app fast and private, though the Apple-only focus excludes Windows and Android users entirely. Bear is free to use for core note-taking; Pro costs $2.99/month or $29.99/year and unlocks sync, all themes, advanced exports, and note encryption.
