About age

Age is a simple, modern and secure file encryption tool and Go library. It uses small explicit keys, offers no config options and follows UNIX-style composability, so it pipes cleanly into scripts and other tools. Developers and system administrators use age to encrypt backups, secrets and files in automation, often alongside rage, its Rust implementation, as a contemporary replacement for GPG file encryption.
